A night of chips and plenty of sauce for Stein IAS at the chip shop awards
17 June 2014
Stein IAS has scooped a remarkable four ‘chips’ at this year’s Chip Shop Awards, the awards scheme notorious for holding no boundaries and recognising that the best ideas don’t always fall within the rules.
Held at the Ministry of Sound in London, (Thursday 12th June), the event saw Stein IAS blow away competition to take home a record haul of ‘chips’ for the global B2B agency force. This included its tongue-in-cheek spin on Dove’s Real Beauty ad for ‘Best Remake of an Existing Advert’, its Microsoft Windows ad for ‘Best use of Logo’ and its Samaritans ad for ‘Best Use of David Moyes’ in the ‘Invent Your Own Category’. Stein IAS capped off the evening picking up a fourth ‘chip’ for an ad deemed too offensive for public viewing.
As the advertising industry’s most notorious awards ceremony, the Chip Shop Awards are renowned for encouraging creative minds to pull no punches, offers creatives the opportunity to showcase their talents without constraint.
